Skateboarding pads are an important part of becoming a better boarder. When you bite it hard and do not have pads on then you may be out of the scene for some time. Chances that you immediately get back up and keep skating are much better when you have pads on. If you are practicing a difficult trick then put on all the pads until you get the trick down.
